Heart-Shaped Pizza

Joe, Grace, and I recreated No Time for Flash Cards’ heart-shaped pizzas on Valentine’s Day. I love using cookie cutters to make unexpected food shapes, and we all loved eating these pizzas!

Double Chocolate Pecan Cookies

Double Chocolate Pecan Cookies

My earliest Christmas memory involves chocolate and cherries and raisins and peanuts.
It was warm outside, so I think it was October or early November. My sisters, my mom, and I were helping my Grandma to make Christmas candy.
Or, more accurately, my mom was helping, and we were eating.
My recollection of the day is hazy, more suggestion than lucid memory. I don’t exactly recall any of the details, aside from sitting in my Grandpa’s chair, sampling the goods til I had a belly ache.

It just isn’t.
And I make all 3 of them myself, usually on Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
Are you impressed?
Everyone always raves about all that work I did to make three pies, but all three are so easy that it’s embarrassing.
This cherry pie is by far the easiest of the three, and it’s a great …

Eebee’s Mix & Mash

Eebee’s Mix & Mash

Grace and I have had the flu for the last week. We haven’t done any fun cooking, nor any fun eating.
Grace hasn’t done much eating at all, in fact.
That makes it hard to write about Grace’s kitchen exploits, you know?
Earlier in the week, we received a preview copy of a book I wish I’d had when Grace was tiny. It’s called eebee’s Mix & Mash: Adventures in the Kitchen for Baby & You. It’s a cookbook that contains six recipes, but it’s also a board book. It has pictures of …
