Do you have an icing decorator at home? It’s a plastic tube with a handle and interchangeable tips that fit the end.
Of course, an icing decorator is primarily used for decorating cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. When you use one, a large cookie looks as if it’s come from a fancy store at the mall and a simple cake looks like it was made in a bakery.

I’m seeing zucchini recipes everywhere lately. I love seeing how other people use them during this time of year when they’re coming out our ears.

Since I learned to make jam several years ago, I have always wanted to make watermelon jam.
I’ve never eaten watermelon jam, mind you, but I have had a twenty-five year love affair with watermelon-flavored Bubblicious (bubble gum), and so I have been thinking that watermelon jam would be simply delightful.
I’m going to give away the ending of my story and say that watermelon jam is simply delightful. It has all of the flavor of my beloved gum, and it doesn’t irritate my TMJ.

I love to eat beets.
There’s nothing finer than my Grandma’s pickled beets, and I’ve had a few salads at fancy restaurants that contained beets. I’ve never tasted a beet that I didn’t like.
I bought some beets at our favorite farm market this weekend, but I wasn’t sure how to cook them properly.
I asked on Twitter, and almost immediately, Hannah, Shannon, and Heather responded to say that I should roast them.
