I’m not waiting for Allie’s First Flush any more.
Oh, don’t get the wrong idea. It’s not because it’s happened.
On the contrary, I’ve given up home and decided to put flushing out of my mind until Allie takes the lead again.
Nonetheless, I committed to have a First Flush party before Allie had decided not to learn to use the potty.
I thought about nominating Grace as our Honorary Big Kid for the day, but changed my mind. It was Allie’s day.
But I did let Grace wear a Big Kid party hat anyway.
At the First Flush party, I showed the other mommas the new Pull-Ups Big Kid App. The app looks really, really cool, but don’t take my word for it. Watch this video:
Here’s the short version:
- Download the free Pull-Ups Big Kid App.
- Scan the star on any package of Pull-Ups and/or the medallion sticker inside the package.
- Experience the rewards! A variety of Disney characters and
Everyone was really impressed with the Pull-Ups Big Kid App. It does so many things – take photos with characters, countdown to potty break, tracks successes and rewards them with new games and activities, character calls, videos and songs, and training tips for parents.
We were shocked to find out that the app is free. It seems like it will be really helpful, even for “I’m not sitting on the potty” Allie.
You can learn more about the Pull-Ups Big Kid App on the Pull-Ups website; there’s really a wealth of information there, including FAQ and explanations of all the features.
I didn’t want to take pictures of the other babes, but here’s my crew, sporting their First Flush party hats.
And blowing their noisemakers. We had a couple of noisemakers leftover from the party. I’m going to keep them around for Allie’s actual first flush. She’s really impressed with noisemakers.
After the party, each Big Kid took home a goodie bag with a potty progress chart, First Flush stickers, and extra party hats. I like that the potty progress chart includes all the big steps, not just sat down and used the potty.
This learning to use the potty thing is a big deal.
Each momma took home a goodie bag with a booklet of coupons and a certificate from Snapfish for a free photobook!
The coupons included Pull-Ups and Crayola products.
Pull-Ups is holding a sweepstakes on their Facebook page (http://on.fb.me/X8vGP7). You can enter to win a trip to the most magical family getaway destination on Earth!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to host a party. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
