Today, I’m participating in a blog hop along with the other speakers from the 2:1 Conference. The 2:1 Conference is a faith-based conference for homeschooling parents who blog or are involved in social media.
I went last year (and learned these lessons), and it was my best conference of 2012.
I’m 33. During the daytime, I homeschool my 5-year-old first grader while my 2-year-old runs amuck. I play Barbies and make lunches and attempt to restore order in my home.
In the evenings, I work from home as the Inbound Marketing Manager (that’s a fancy title for the SEO and social media person) for AboutOne. I write and manage this blog and also work with bloggers to help them improve their sites.
About Feels Like Home
The mission of this blog is to help moms to live more fully.
I cover a variety of topics because you do a variety of things. I try to post a recipe every week, usually on Monday. I post pictures of my family and homeschool tips and craft ideas and healthy living hints. I do product reviews some Thursdays.
You can see my recent posts in each of the main content areas on the front page.
About My Session at 2:1
This year, I’ll be speaking at the 2:1 conference. My session is called Making SEO Work for Your Blog.
Attendees in my session can expect to learn what SEO is and what posts are worth taking the time to optimize.
The most important part of SEO is finding the right keyword for your post, so I’ll spend some time explaining that process.
Finally, I’ll wrap up with a list of spots within your blog post that you should use the keyword you identified.
