My highest weight ever was just after my pregnancy with Grace. I weighed 365 pounds.
Before I got pregnant with Allie, I lost about 35 pounds. By the time she was a few months old, though, I was back up to 355.
Remember last year when I participated in a Bible-based weight loss program and a challenge with Omron Fitness and Mamavation? I wore a pedometer and took pictures of my progress using a heart rate monitor.
I lost a total of 45 pounds in 2012, mostly during the Omron challenge. I think it was a success.
I’ve kept almost all of the 45 pounds off, hovering now between 316 and
320Â 325, depending on how much pop I drink.
The picture at left is from October; I’m the same weight now I was then. I have a better haircut now, but I guess that doesn’t matter.
A New Challenge – #iHeartOmron
When Mamavation had a call for applicants for a new Omron Fitness challenge, I applied. I know I need a kickstart to get losing again.
I know I need to start tracking my food again, but I haven’t done it.
I know I need to get back to exercising every day or every other day, but I haven’t done that either.
I’m thrilled to share that I have been selected from over 600 applicants to be one of 25 participants in this year’s challenge! You’ll see weekly posts on my progress from now until Valentines’ Day (longer if I can keep myself on track). The weekly updates have to be posted on Mondays, so I’m switching my normal recipe posts to Tuesdays.
Here’s how the challenge is going to work:
I will receive the HJ-323U connected pedometer, the new 510W Scale, and then later on in the challenge the new Strapless Heart Rate Monitor (HR-5ooU). The pedometer and strapless heart rate monitor will sync with the Omron Fitness Dashboard on Facebook. The Omron Fitness Dashboard will help me track my activity online, create fitness benchmarks and goals, and keep me challenged.
On February 20th, I’ll be participating in a Twitter party from 8-10pm talking about my results, Omron products, and fitness tips. Mark your calendar now!
This post is sponsored Omron Fitness as a collaboration with Bookieboo Blogging Network and Mamavation – a community dedicated to weight loss for women and obesity prevention for families.  I was provided with product and compensation for my time and honest opinions.Â
