My Happy Baby

Allie took her first wobbly steps today, two of them. She’s eight months and two weeks old, and she also has ten teeth.

She’s growing up. There’s no stopping it.

In honor of her big feat, I want to share this photo I took on Friday. I’m not sure what she and my mom were laughing about, but it doesn’t matter.

I sure got lucky with the shot, but she looks like that most of the time. Despite her cranky, colicky, beginning, she is an incredibly happy and content baby. She only cries when she’s hungry or overly tired.

I got lucky with the baby, too.

Ten. Isn’t it hard to believe? She started teething at eleven weeks. Once they started coming through, it was 4, then 6, all at once. As you might imagine, things were a little dicey in our home when it happened. ;)

That’s incredible!! David stood on his own for a few seconds the other day and he is still way advanced over where Libbie was at this age. I mostly think he’s trying to get away from her. ;)

She’s a cutie pie!

LOL! In our case, Allie wants to get to wherever Grace is (unless the cats are in the vicinity, then she’s running to them instead).

What a great picture! It cracks me up that your mom is wearing a bluetooth headset. It’s nice to see that she is embracing technology!

For sure. My mom and her bluetooth are not often separated. ;)
