I am delighted to be one of twenty bloggers featured in Arm & Hammer’s Switch & Save Challenge. During the next five months, I’ll be testing several Arm & Hammer products and sharing my experiences with you.
This post is supposed to be about my final thoughts after using Arm & Hammer’s Double Duty Cat Litter. (Also, scroll to the bottom for a free pet tag offer and a giveaway.)
Well.
I don’t have any final thoughts.
In the past four weeks, I have noticed the smell of cat poop only once, and then only because nobody cleaned the litter box for a few days a week.
It didn’t smell, and so neither Joe nor myself thought about it.
Faced with the thought of publishing a lame 5 sentence post about our underachieving cleaning habits, I began looking through my cat photos for inspiration.
I found some.
When I was pregnant with Grace, my cats slept on my growing belly for months, purring. They knew the baby’s heartbeat and movements well, and she was calmed by their contented vibrations.
When we came home, they slept next to her, on top of me, and she was still calmed by their contented purring.

Four years later, the cats again slept on my belly as the baby grew inside. Somehow, they know what’s going on in there.
Grace is still calmed by their constant purring. They still sleep next to her.
I thought there would be no room on my belly for the cats once I had two babies. They’d have to find a new spot to nap, I thought.

Little did I know that Momma’s lap grows (or was that her heart?), and there’s always enough room for everybody.
Aren’t we lucky?

I love how easy my pet is to care for. He’s a frog. He eats pellets twice a week and never pees on the furniture. ;0) And how sweet are those pictures? Precious!
I follow you on Facebook. Resisting the urge to give you my name to prove it…

I don’t know where to begin, there are so many things I love about our dog! She is so loveable and spoiled and was thrilled to welcome our daughter into the family 2 years ago! She’s a snuggle monster and if she lies on the couch with me, I fall asleep within seconds of her cuddling on my lap! Although she has a soft and spoiled side, she recently showed us her protective side and chased off another (unfamiliar) dog when it got too close to our daughter.
Love the excuse to get outside and exercise with the dog (though she’s been gone for years now).

Do we have to pick just one thing? That is hard! I guess it would be that they seem to sense when I need support or comforting and they will be right there giving it to me when I need it most.
