Sister Love

I am inadequate, but I am doing something right.

Because these girls adore each other.

Adore. Each. Other.

They adore each other absolutely.

Allie’s face lights up when Grace smiles at her.

Grace lights up just to see her baby sister.

Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.

For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.

–Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NKJV

I just said AWWWW really loud. It was quiet in here. Scared my hubby. So sweet!

Here’s another AWW moment for you. Tonight, we went to Disney on Ice, and it ended very late. Grace was tired, dragging. As we got on the elevator to leave the arena, Allie looked at Grace and cooed very loudly. Grace looked at her, expressionless because she was so tired. As soon as they made eye contact, Allie erupted into a grin that lit her entire face. She cooed again, and finally Grace smiled. They just smiled at each other for a few seconds. It was an amazing moment.

Aww! Your girls are so precious! So glad they have each other, and that you have a front row seat to their “sister love”! :)

oh my goodness!! I love those pictures!! My 4 yo daughter simply cannot stop kissing and hugging her baby sister. I adore the special connection she has to her. Every day before she gets out of the van at preschool she kisses, hugs and says I love you to her baby sister. Her little brother? Not so much! LOL!!

Do you think it’s because they’re closer in age or because it’s a boy and a girl?

Adorable! I love that verse. It truly applies to everything not just marriage.
