Remember when I shared Grace’s new family portraits?

I left something out of that story.
See the lines across my and Joe’s foreheads? You may notice that Grace and the new baby (tiny though she is) do not have those same lines.
They’re wrinkles.
Grace told me so.
I was shocked to hear that I have wrinkles.
I have splotches, red spots, bumps, and big pores, but I do not have wrinkles.
You should have seen the faces I made into the mirror that night, trying to recreate my wrinkles. I frowned. I scowled. I grinned. No wrinkles.
Then I made my mom face, the one where my eyebrows are raised in that “What did you just say to me?” face.
Bingo.
Wrinkles.
All across my forehead.
Grace must see that face a lot to draw me with wrinkles in her family portrait.
She’s 3. She needs to see that face a lot.
This is sponsored content from BlogHer and Olay.
When I first started using my Olay Total Effects moisturizer, I was using it only on my cheeks. Like most women, I have combination skin (are you totally impressed by my new found skin knowledge?). My forehead, nose, and chin get oily throughout the day, while my cheeks stay pretty dry.
My cheeks clearly needed moisturizing, so that’s where I used the lotion.
After seeing the benefits of the moisturizer (and learning that I have wrinkles), I decided to try it on my forehead.
Just to see.
Since I was using it at night, I figured it wouldn’t hurt anything. If my forehead became greasy over night, I could wash it (in the shower, with my body soap, of course), and everything would be fine.
I’m happy to report that my forehead did not get greasy. Like my cheeks, it is smoother and softer. It looks glowy, not greasy at all.
So now I use the moisturizer on my entire face. I still use it at night, before I go to bed.
Despite my pregnant crankiness, I’ve been told twice this week that I was glowing.
Sorry, Olay, but I didn’t tell them about the moisturizer.

Sadly, I haven’t done anything about wrinkles. My mother and grandmother have really good skin and hardly any wrinkles, so I’m banking on heredity saving me.

Doing? DOING? The only thing I’m doing about my lines is inwardly moaning. Ugh.
As of now, nothing. I have been procrastinating for a while, I’d say, since I am nearing 50.
Right now…nothing. But I am sure I should start soon! I am 24, so I don’t have any yet. But I do have a 3 year old, so I am sure within the next 15 years I will get many! bekki1820cb at gmail dot com

I admit that I’m not doing as much as I’d like! I really need to come up with a better skin care routine.
I use a moisturizer day and night.

I use moisturizer and I drink alot of water.
I am embracing them.
What am I doing about my wrinkles? I am accepting them
.
I am not doing anything right now at 37. I really need to think about it though.
Just in the past year or so, I have started using an oil-free moisturizer on my face every day. I’ve always had oily skin, but the years have caught up with me and now it is drying out.
Oh my! I love your attitude!
Sounds like a good plan to me.
I have always been one to take care of my skin, I have washed with soap and water twice a day and moisturized since I was 14. So far at 46 I have no wrinkles, in fact my skin is very healthy and young looking
I feel like I’ve tried everything but after reading your take on it, I’m off to the store for one more product and hopefully this will be the ticket. Thank you and Happy Holidays to you!
I would welcome a change in skin care and have heard wonderful feedback from users of this product. Thank you for this opportunity!

So far nothing, but I think I’ll give Olay a go.
The truth is I really don’t pay a whole lot of attention to the wrinkles, I moisturize if needed but life is what it is and I am happy!

I’m not doing anything about wrinkles at the present except doing everyday things to take care of myself – eating healthy, exercising, and getting enough sleep!

For my wrinkles, I am trying to slow down and prevent them. I wear sunscreen every day no matter what, and moisturize at night. honeypie411 at yahoo dot com
I’ve tried a few creams, but I’m not stressing too much since I don’t have many wrinkles.
I’m drinking tons more water and moisturizing!!
not worrying about it (because that causes wrinkles!)
i moisturize twice a day and use olay regenerist on my eyes. i also use sunscreen and drink tons of water. wrinkles are scary and i do not want them.
ferriza2(at)yahoo(dot)com
I have cream I use in the morning and night. I also try to eat healthy and stay hydrated, anything that might help.
I use a mix of coconut oil and macadamia nut oil for all my skin.
I read the official rules
Funny story — from the minds and mouths of children. I can picture you in front of the mirror, making faces and searching for the dreaded wrinkles.
I use moisturizer daily and always use sunscreen. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
I don’t have too many wrinkles to worry about yet, but I use Mary Kay Moisturizer in the morning and Oil of Olay at night.
I moisturize every morning and night and use sunscreen every day.

I don’t do much about wrinkles yet. At 46 I’m lucky to have very few. But I know I need to buckle down and start doing some preventative work.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I may moisturize my face daily, but the wrinkles are here to stay! I’ve decided that they’re a product of children and wear them daily!

The only thing I do is apply a little lotion when my face feels tight. I can’t use a lot of skin treatments because they’re scented and my husband has allergies.
I don’t do anything about them. I really don’t have any yet but I need to start doing something about it if I want to keep it that way. lol thank you!
I should probably say that I’m using some really good wrinkle cream but I’m not doing ANYTHING about my wrinkles right now!

What am I doing about my wrinkles? I’m enjoying them! I earned them and they are mine! I do use moisturizer and sunscreen.
Awesome blog and thanks for the giveaway!
Would love, love, LOVE to win this!

At this point, I’m mostly trying to prevent getting wrinkles by avoiding sun exposure and wearing sunblock!
eemoody77 at gmail dot com
I’ve done absolutely nothing about my wrinkles. I’ve always had this huge deep wrinkle on my forehead(thanks dad) and it’s been really annoying me lately. Now that I’m 35, I probably should try doing something about it.
michedt (at) gmail (dotcom)
I’m 62 and I’ve earned all my wrinkles. Thanks for the contest.
To be honest, I am not doing a thing other than fretting about them! LOL I mean I lotion and use SPF but what else can you do? Aging is just a natural part of life. bleh…LOL

I am learning to enjoy my wrinkles, sure I put on moisturizer and wrinkle cream but the winkles do appear so I smile and make the best of it nupa123atgmaildotcom
Well, I don’t know if it counts as a treatment for wrinkles, but my fat poofs them out so I don’t look as old as I am! LOL Seriously though, I really don’t mind aging and other than using sunscreen on occasion do not do anything.

I’m getting older and wrinkles and grey hair are all part of that. I’m perfectly content not doing anything about either of them!
