As you know, our family is expecting an addition.
In just 9 weeks.
On one hand, 9 weeks feels like forever.
On the other hand, 9 weeks is the time between now and Christmas.
Oh. My. Goodness. We have a lot of work to do between now and then.
An awful lot of work to do.
Anyway, the new baby is on Grace’s mind a lot.
This morning, she drew a picture of our family.
She’s been drawing people often lately, especially drawing the three of us.
This time, however, she included our January baby. It was the first time ever.
Can you see her?
She is tiny, but she has eyes, a nose, and a mouth just like the rest of us. Like Grace and I, she has crazy, wild hair, but since she’s a baby, she got only one strand.
She is going to be an awesome big sister.

That is pure sweetness! You’re going to have so much fun with those two. There’s nothing so wonderful as the relationship between sisters. I think I’ll go call mine.
