Back in March, I asked Grace some questions about her impending birthday.
Everybody knows that birthdays are all about the cake. And the singing, but let’s just talk about the cake for now.
If that weren’t true, my sister and I wouldn’t have spent days working on that crazy castle cake for Grace’s birthday. Incidentally, the Betty Crocker website has a tutorial for a much easier castle cake.
I mentioned before that Grace’s birthday party was sponsored by Betty Crocker. We received some cool goodies, including the cake and frosting that we used at Grace’s cupcake-decorating party.
BettyCrocker.com covers all your party-planning needs, including instructional videos, shopping lists, party activities and games, and invitations that can be printed from your home computer. The themes go way beyond princesses, including space, firehouse, mermaids, and ponies.

The zoo-rrific cupcakes are pretty darn cute!
Oh, my goodness, how exciting! Cakes are my thing. I'd like to try the barn cake with the little farm animal cupcakes!
I would love to try the S'mores Cake. Sounds so good.

Oh, how fun! Cake and a giveaway! What could be better?!
I'd have a hard time choosing which cake to do for the next party…. I really liked the cake that looked like a tub of popcorn (perfect for a circus or carnival themed party) and I liked the barn with animal cupcakes (for a farm themed party) and the spiral candle cake looked festive and more suited for a teen or even an adult!
