It’s no secret that I adore No Time for Flash Cards.Alphabet Crafts by No Time for Flash Cards

Allie, the gifted author and owner of No Time for Flash Cards, has recently published an e-book called Alphabet Crafts.

The e-book is everything I have come to expect from Allie. Some of the projects are things I’ve seen on her site; some are exclusive to the e-book.

After we downloaded the book, Grace and I looked through it together to pick a craft we could do together. She picked the letter E made from envelopes.

After we finished the project (as directed in the e-book), I asked Grace if she wanted to talk about it for the video camera.

She did. Here are her thoughts -

(I hope you enjoyed that video as much as I did.)

Alphabet Crafts Giveaway

Allie offered to give one lucky Feels like Home reader a copy of her awesome e-book.

To enter: Visit No Time for Flash Cards and choose your favorite project. Come back here and report it in the comments.

Good luck! I’ll use Random.org to choose a winner some time after 11:59 pm on April 12, 2010. The winner was Kelly, who left comment #12.

I received Allie’s e-book in order to evaluate before posting. Allie  is also providing the e-book for the giveaway.

I love her too ;-) We’ve been doing some of her letter crafts over the last few weeks as we work through Hooked on Phonics Pre-K. I’m planning to sort marshmallows, which is an idea I got from her! I bought big and little marshmallows and we’ll sort them by size. I’d love to win her book, because we’ll be doing the alphabet again in the second Pre-K book…then yet again when Miss Savannah gets older. So I’ll need new ideas!!

We've loved so many of the crafts at No Time for Flash Cards. My youngest's recent favorite was the sink & float activity.

What a great site! There are so many fun projects, but I have the stuff on hand to make those cute Earths for the banner. We can do that one!

All project are interesting, hard to choose, I think I choose the easiest project (I have tried it with plastic bottle) : 'shake, shake let's make music'.
Thank you for this giveaway.

WOW! You want me to pick just one? That's impossible. We love Allie's site. The marshmallow snowman was one of our favorites from winter.

Wow – that is a cool site!
I love the idea of the frozen yogurt eggs – you could modify that to all sorts of fun shapes if you had them, and they would be a great healthy substitute for popsicles this summer. Better indoors, too, since they won't drip. ;-)
