I found the most fabulous crafty blog. My favorite project so far has been the paper horses.

Ann Wood decorates them fabulously – with lace, feathers, paint, and all sorts of other media.

Around here, we concentrate on markers and crayons.

Grace isn’t quite sure about coloring inside the lines.

Even after I explained that we’d be cutting the pieces out.

Even after I skillfully modeled how to color inside the lines of the mane.

This iss my other horse over here!

I guess we’re still in between the random scribbling phase and the coloring in the shapes phase.

When she was all done coloring, I used a small hole punch to put holes in the legs and the body.

I have lots of eyelets and brads in my my scrapbooking supplies. I thought the flowers would be nice, so I used them to attach the legs to the body.

Ann Wood’s may have a lot of horses, but I think mine is the best one.
