Welcome to Feels Like Home!
We’re going to be smack-dab in the middle of the East Coast blizzard this weekend, so I thought it appropriate to play along with the Blizzard Blog Hop going on right now.
If you’ve never been to Feels Like Home before, I hope you’ll take a look around.
My favorite recent post was about the Love Notes I made for my daughter. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, you might want to take a look at that.
I write primarily about making life easier, more simple, and more fun. You’ll find:
- Lots of recipes and kitchen tips because we all have eat, and we might as well do it well.
- Crafts for children and adults
- Stories about my life
- Posts about parenting a 2-1/2-year-old
- A plethora of other subjects, including homemaking, a few product reviews, and a weekly link round-up called Things to Write Home About
Lately, I’ve also been writing a lot about two projects I’ve undertaken – to read the Bible in 90 days and to lose 100 pounds in 2010. Both are more challenging than I’d imagined, but in different ways. I’m making good progress on both fronts.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you’ll visit again soon!

More snow for you all? Us too here in St. Louis, only about 4″ total I think overnight and tomorrow. I could take a little more than that personally
Nice to “meet” you
Hi there, I am hopping around on the blog hop and I am so glad I found your blog. I too am working on weight loss this year. It is very difficult because of my chronic pain like your migraines. I look forward to reading more of your posts. I am now following you on twitter, fb and also your blog. Have a blessed day!
Karen
Those love notes are adorable!
Happy Bloghopping!
What great projects for the new year! I love your take on recipes – we all need to eat so lets do it well! Amen sister!
We got out of school early today for the storm. We're supposed to get a lot. One of my students told me 18-20 inches, but I haven't looked at the weather report for myself. We'll get what we get.

Good work! Do you have any advice for keeping it off?
Thank you! I totally understand about the pain. The routine that is working for me is every other day. My back is happy with that, and the migraines have subsided. I hope you find something that works for you!
