I love it because it brings the meaning of Christmas home to my son in a much clearer way. We haven't done a Jesse Tree, and I just didn't feel equal to it this year, though I'm researching for next year. We also read The Christmas Rose each year (we got our copies from Chinaberry; I have one copy for each child and my own copy). It's a beautiful story which also encompasses the true meaning of the season (along with being an adventure that my 4 yo loves).
