This past weekend, my sister’s dear friend from college came to Harrisburg for a visit. She wanted to see a few of our favorite local sights.
Not wanted to be left out, Gracie and I tagged along and did some sightseeing in our town.
I highly recommend it.
We spent Saturday in Hershey, where street signs (and some of the fountains!) are shaped like Hershey kisses.
It was hot and sticky. I wanted to jump into the fountain with Gracie, but I refrained.
I am a grown-up.
I am a grown-up.
But I was very hot and sticky.
I didn’t jump in. Because I am a grown up.
Despite the heat and humidity, we had a crazy fun time in Hershey.
Grace drove me around in a big green boat.
It’s like a big red car, only green and a boat.
But it was in the sun, and we gave up on the boat quickly.
Amanda carried Grace around the gardens because my back was sore.
But mostly Grace walked. She loves flowers as much as I do, which is a lot.
It was. So hot.
But we had such a nice day.
