Most of the time, Grace plays in the kitchen while I make our lunch. Often she cooks with me.

I’m not sure why, but this past Thursday, Grace left the kitchen and played in the living room while I made lunch.

I was in the kitchen for less than five minutes, just long enough to soften cream cheese, mix some Harry & David’s Onion and Pepper Relish into it, and pour a glass of iced tea.

When I got to the top of the stairs, I could see that Grace had entertained herself.

The extent of the damage was not immediately clear.

Upon inspection, I found a lot more was green than I’d initially noticed.

And I didn’t take any pictures of her fingernails, neck, legs, feet, belly, or any of her other green spots.

Needless to say, Grace was very proud of herself.
