How to Make A Cape: A Tutorial » »

Gracie in the House!

June 23, 2009

You know how sports teams sometimes run onto the field through a huge paper banner?

Here comes Grace!

If you were two, wouldn’t you think that was the funnest thing ever?

Come on. You would too.

Every week, we receive two little newspapers in the mail. They’re free, and they’re full of community events and classified ads. We can’t opt out of them. Everyone in the township gets them.

We’ve got a new tradition going.

When the little newspapers arrive, I cut three thin slices from the spine of the paper. Joe holds them up, and Grace runs through them. It goes by quickly, but Grace loves it.

She laughs and laughs and laughs.

‘Gain! ‘Gain! ‘Gain! She giggles.

See her cape? I posted a tutorial to show you how to make your own superhero cape earlier this week.

So cute! My 2 year old would love it! And he wore his super hero cape (actually 2 of them) all morning! I really do love running errands with a superhero in tow; it makes everyday errands so much more exciting!
