I love photos. I love looking at the smiling faces of the people that I love.
There are 74 photos hanging in my living room.
I’ve taken 4,420 photos in the last twelve months.
My favorite subject, of course, is my Pumpkin.
I haven’t had professional photos taken of Grace since she was a few weeks old, and it wasn’t a good experience. The coming of her second birthday meant another photo session was long overdue, so I sucked it up and made an appointment.
The photographer did a great job of convincing my shy Pumpkin to warm up and have fun, and it shows.
I think they came out splendidly. The photographer captured her personality nicely.
Don’t you think?
We did a bunch of different outfits with different backgrounds, but I’ll share more another day.

So sweet!! The last time we took my daughter for professional pics, it was October of last year (she was just 12 months). It was an awful experience, and we haven’t been back. I keep saying we should…but then I remember how many hundreds of photos I take of her every month! Obviously, the kid is not lacking in photograph opportunities!
