I think it’s great that you let your daughter express herself. I know, it can be hard as a mom to stand back. My oldest daughter is 6 and it doesn’t get any easier And you give a great message that she’s beautiful and fun and lovable no matter what she wears.

I have to admit, I didn’t see anything wrong with any of her outfits. Well, maybe the green outfit with the poncho was a little much even for me. Guess she really does have the same fashion sense (or complete lack of) as her Aunt Amanda.

Good for you for letting her fashion sense develop on its own. I have a 7 year old who has had her own style since that age and while she doesn’t dress conventionally, her style has developed and looks good on her and fits her personality. It is hard to hold my tongue sometimes (and I don’t always) when we are going someplace where I want her to “look nice.”
