Last summer, Grace refused to wear sunglasses or a hat. I obsessed about protecting her fair skin and blue eyes, unbeknown to Miss Grace.

This summer, I’ve again purchased sunglasses and a selection of hats, and I’ll still obsess about protecting her fair skin and blue eyes. She seems more interested this year.

We’ll see.

Hopefully, she’ll still be interested when the novelty wears off.
