It was the day after Thanksgiving. As soon as Joe walked into the room, Grace climbed up in the chair next to him and said, ‘at, ‘at, pointing to his head.
He leaned over towards her so that she could see his hat, and she took it right off of his head. She looked the hat all over, and then stuck it on her own head.
Perfectly. Just like she’d been putting hats on her head forever. She’d never put a hat on before this, but she needed no practice.
And then, when I said, “Can Momma take a picture of you wearing Daddy’s hat?” she smiled a huge smile and turned her head away from me.

The PhotoHunt theme this week is hats.

There are things a woman knows how to do instinctively. Wearing hats must be one of them. :>)
