Zenses Giveaway for Nintendo DS

December 29, 2008

I’m a little behind the times, Dear Reader.

I hadn’t heard of a Nintendo DS until Thanksgiving, when my little sister asked me to help her get one at a bargain price. Now that I’m paying attention, I’ve seen them everywhere.

In fact, there were 5 DS’s at my aunt’s house when we celebrated Christmas this past Saturday. Even Gracie got in on the action, drawing her special toddler scribbles on her cousin’s DS.

It’s becoming clear to me that I’m one of four people on the whole planet who hasn’t played a DS. One of them flushes dead squirrels down the toilet, and the other two live in rural Djibouti.

Anyway, guess what! The Family Review Network and The Game Factory are giving away two Nintendo DS games – Zenses Ocean & Zenses Rainforest – to one lucky Feels like Home reader!

The Zenses series is DS for grown ups. It’s the perfect “me time” companion that will allow you to hide in your favorite corner of the house and unplug from the stresses of everyday life.

Each Zenses disk plays a relaxing soundtrack (that you can download at The Game Factory) and contains six simple yet complex mind games that you can play for a few minutes or all afternoon.

You can buy them at many national and online stores, including Walmart and Amazon, for $29.99 each, or you can win them here!

To enter: Please visit The Game Factory and find the Words of Wisdom. Choose your favorite quote or game feature. Come back here, and leave it in a comment with a way to contact you.

For extra entries: You can earn one extra entry for each of the following:

  1. Tweet my giveaway and leave the URL for the Tweet in the comments.
  2. Write about this giveaway on your blog, including Feels like Home. Leave the URL in a comment.
  3. Post my button on your sidebar. Report the URL for your site in a comment.
  4. Subscribe to my feed and report it in the comments.

Fine print – The winner will receive both Zenses Ocean and Zenses Rainforest. All entrants must be 18 or older, and the winner must be in the US.

Good luck! I’ll use Random.org to choose a winner at 9 pm on January 5.

The moment when you first wake up in the morning
is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.

The quote I chose is :

We must dare to think unthinkable thoughts. We must learn to explore all the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly changing world. We must learn to welcome and not to fear the voices of dissent. We must dare to think about unthinkable things because when things become unthinkable, thinking stops and action becomes mindless.
