It feels like forever since I’ve written to you from my faded, worn out couch, Dear Reader.
The Feels like Home family has been traveling around Pennsylvania for the last week or so, visiting our relatives and exchanging gifts with our most loved friends and family.
Whether I was sitting on my in-laws brand new couch, my grandma’s familiar old loveseat, or my aunt’s immaculate settee, I felt warm, comfortable, and happy.
But not at home.
I’m home now after a wonderful, long, and busy Christmas week. I’ll fill you in on the details in the coming days but for now, I’m going to sit on my own couch with my cats and then sleep in my own bed with my husband.
There’s no place like home.

ah, yes I agree. and this year I named the last year we will sleep away from home on Christmas eve! unless we find ourselves in the south of france
