Yesterday was author Mia King‘s 40th birthday. I heard she had a nice day.
In honor of her birthday, I closed the Sweet Life giveaway last night. Here’s the winner, according to Random.org:
So I went back to the comments and counted them. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on, until I got to #14.
Which was left by my mom.
I feel totally weird about it, Dear Reader. I wish someone I didn’t know would’ve won so that it wouldn’t look like I’m a cheater. I’m not a cheater, I promise.
In fact, I considered going back to random.org and running a new number when I saw that it was my mom. But then that would be cheating, wouldn’t it? Rigging it so that she can’t win is no different than rigging it so she does win. So I just let her win.
And that’s that.
Did you enter the giveaway I have for an Act2GreenSmart bag? It is closing this Tuesday, September 30.
