Last week, I told you about our struggle to keep the house clean. Â This week, I’m going to show you my list of tasks that need to be done each day and each week. Â Is this everything that needs to be done? Â (Most of my list came fromÂ Martha Stewart’s Homekeeping Handbook. Â There are lists near the front of the book that help you with what you need to clean every day, week, month, and season.)
Vacuum the living room
Wipe the bathroom counter & sink
Wipe kitchen counter, sink, and stove
Unload dishwasher & put dishes away
Sweep kitchen & dining room floors
Kitchen – wipe all surface – stove hood, fridge, cupboard doors, dishwasher appliances. Â Clean inside microwave and oven. Â Mop floors. Flush drain with boiling water. Change towel. Scrub the sink with Comet. Clean out fridge.
Dining room – Dust all surfaces.Â
Living room – Vacuum couch, chair, and cushions. Dust all surfaces – furniture, electronics, books, lamps. Wipe TV screen. Vacuum stairs. Wipe mirror & pictures.
Bedrooms – Change sheets & pillowcases. Â Dust furniture and lights. Vacuum.Â
Laundry – Wash sheets, bath mats, towels, washcloths, and kitchen towels.
Bathroom – Clean toilet, tub, sink. Â Wipe mirror. Dust.Â
Misc – Pay bills. Check windows and doors, wipe as needed. Â Take out trash. Wipe inside and outside of trash cans. Dust ceiling fans.
Okay, help me out. Â Am I missing anything? Â
