This morning, I watched as Gracie “Keep-Your-Lips-Off-Me” Anna crawled up in the lap of her daycare teacher, hugged her, and gave her a smooch on the cheek. I looked on in awe. I wanted to scream, Are you kidding me? but I didn’t. On one hand, it’s awesome that she loves Ms. M and Mrs. B so much. On the other hand, I want to be the one she hugs and kisses!
I guess this is one of the great “Joys” of parenthood.

I feel for you, James will give all of his stuffed animals kisses, but when I ask for one he turns his head and crawls the other way!

I fee ya. Sometimes I get paranoid that Antonio is TOO happy when I drop him off at daycare.

I feel for you. But your LO wouldn’t be that way and open to others if she would not know how much she is loved and cared for at home from you.
