Grace learned a new skill today. She demonstrated it several times, making me wonder what prompted her to pick it up today. Did she see someone else do it? Did she figure it out on her own? Was it an accident the first time? Did it mean she didn’t like the food I’d given her? I’m still not sure.
The skill Grace has been repeating over and over is the coveted shake-my-head-with-my-mouth-open-until-whatever-I-didn’t-want-to-eat-falls-out move. I thought she liked the fresh red raspberries I paid too much for on Sunday. Today, I tried four times to feed them to her before eating the berries myself. She’s been eating avocado, pureed, for months. Today, she threw three chunks on the floor before I ate that, too.
On the positive side, I’ve been eating a lot of fruits and veggies.
