Patience shows up again

Two Bible passages fell into my lap today. The first one is below in my previous post. The second is here -

Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. (Proverbs 16:32, NLT)

The funny thing about this quote is that I read it this morning in my One Year Bible, then I stumbled upon it while reading someone else’s blog this afternoon. It doesn’t feel like a coincidence.

On a high school retreat long ago, we had a theme that I really liked: “There is no such thing as a coincidence.” It made me happy at the time to think of God working in tiny little ways all around. I thought you might appreciate that sentiment.
